I have a Thai company already which was registered 2 months ago. I would like to know that for the process of opening bank account, is it required for all the shareholders to be present there at the bank in Thailand? and how to do if one of the shareholders is the company registered in Singapore?
Panwa: Please note that for the process of opening corporate bank account, only the authorized director need to be present to open the corporate account which all the shareholders are not required to be present at the bank. Moreover, the shareholder who holds the shares more than 20% need to provide his/her signed copy of Thai ID card or passport to the director for such process. If in case the shareholder is the company/ juristic person, you have to provide the signed copy of certificate and shareholder list of such company too.
