Services
Thai FDA is responsible for handling the application for the certificates. Under FDA Cosmetic, we provide services for four categories which are as below
- Register new cosmetic product
- Register the import license
(Currently we are unable to serve for FDA product registration and and its import lidenses.)

Procedure and Timeline
I. Request stamp for Power of Attorney Certificate
Step 1: Prepare required documents and fill application form
Ordinary Person
- Copy of ID card/passport, work permit and registered address of both parties (1 set)
- Copy of commercial registration (1 set)
Juristic Person
- Copy of company affidavit not over 6 months (1 set)
- Copy of ID card/passport, work permit and registered address of both parties (1 set)
- Copy of office registered office regarding to company affidavit (1 set)
Step 2: Submit to Thai FDA
The certificate will be issued by taking 1 working day.
II. Request the Entrepreneur code
Step 1: Prepare required documents and fill application form
Ordinary Person
- Copy of ID card and registered address (1 set)
- Copy of commercial registration (1 set)
- Map and surrounding photo of office, place of import and storage place
- Power of attorney with copy of ID card and registered addressed
- Other related documents
Juristic Person
- Copy of ID card and registered address of delegated person on behalf of juristic person (1 set)
- Copy of registered address of office, place of import and storage place (in case of place is own by other, must have supporting documents of consent letter to use the place)
- Copy of company affidavit not over 6 months (1 set)
- Map and surrounding photo of office, place of import and storage place
- Power of attorney and copy of ID card of both parties
Step 2: Submit to Thai FDA
The code will be issued by taking 7 working days.
III. Request the product license
Step 1: Prepare required documents and fill application form
Ordinary Person
- Copy of ID card/ passport and work permit (1 set)
- Copy of house registration (1 set)
Juristic Person
- Copy of Commercial Registration Certificate or business registration or VAT registration not over 6 months (1 set)
- Copy of company affidavit not over 6 months (1 set)
- Copy of house registration regarding to commercial certificate (1 set)
- Copy of authorized person’s ID card and house registration (1 set)
Required Documents
- Application form (F-C2-1, F-C2-2, F-C2-11)
- Documents from manufacturer (manufacturing place, manufacturer) (1 set)
- Certificate of Free Sale from aboard (1 set)
- Formula and ingredient (1 set)
- Photo of products and packaging: box or acrylic jar
- Usage in details (1 set)
- Power of attorney (1 set)
- Map (1 set)
Step 2: Submit to Thai FDA.
The officer will check the accurate of evidence and supporting documents by taking 3 days. (If attached the formula or ingredient behind, it will take not more than 60 days to check)
Remark: If there are no additional documents required and no accurate of evidence document occurred, the day will not be varied. Please note that we will start counting the day after we prepare all the required documents and signed by the applicant.
Step 3: Receive the approval license.
The lifetime of the FDA cosmetic requires to renew every 3 years.
IV. Request the license per invoice (LPI)
Step 1: Prepare the document
For authorized juristic person
- Copy of certified company affidavit not more than 6 months (1 set)
- Power of attorney with copy of ID card (1 set)
For delegated juristic person
- Power of attorney not more than 1 year with 30 Baht stamps together with a set of copy
- Copy of certified company affidavit not more than 6 months (1 set)
- Copy of ID card of authorized person (1 set)
- Cop y of ID card/passport and work permit of delegated person (1 set)
Required document
- The approval of product license
- The detail information that was filled in application form
- Invoice packing list
- Certificate of place of manufacture
Step 2: Apply for the LPI
Submit the documents through E-Form or at FDA and this can be done within 1 day.
Remark: in case of the ingredients are in high risk, it is required to be rechecked by the expert.
Step 3: Receive the license
It requires renewing every time of importing.
Remark: Must have export and import license or shipping provider in order to import to Kingdom of Thailand.
