Process of issuing the replacement title deed in Thailand
- Authorization person has to report to police for its loss.
- Authorized person must report to the Land Department at the condo’s location area to request for issuing a replacement title deed, in this step require 2 witnesses from your side to standby for the officer’s questions.
- Land Department has to announce for 30 days then.
- If there is no obstruction, Land officer will issue a replacement of Title Deed.

Q1. My condo’s title deed is lost due to I am always outside Thailand. If possible, to sign the documents and forms outside Thailand? If not so, how long for this due? And can I bring back the title deed immediately?Panwa: You have to sign personally in Thailand due to we have to prove your immigration stamp on passport and you have to visit the Land Department to meet officer for their interview. Q4. If the replacement title deed is issued and later, the lost one will be found, how I should do?Panwa: When the replacement is issued, the Land Department is recognized as the replacement to be an official title deed so the old one, you should destroy anyway. |
