Q: We mainly do the business of import-export of cosmetics. We also already applied for the Customs paperless. Now we plan to add some new products (EV and its related accessories) for import-export. I want to know if my company needs to notify the Customs Department about this new product? If so, can you help to notify the Customs? Please also advise necessary qualifications and processes for import-export these new products.
Panwa: Please note that in case your company has applied for the Customs paperless already before, there is no need to notify again the Customs Department even though you will import-export new products. However, your company must register to add this new business objective to the DBD first and after you can do the import-export of the new products.
Please note that we do not specialize on the process of import-export of any products, its related product licenses and other requirements, you can use the Customs paperless that you have to let products enter or go out of Thailand, however some product types may need additional product licenses (together with the Customs paperless) to be fully cleared at Customs. Thus, we suggest you to discuss and check directly with the shipping provider or a license specialist for this matter.
