Can my 10 years old step-daughter be a majority shareholder in the company since she is a Thai national and I also will be a foreign shareholder and director but the power is only on me.
Panwa: According to the Thai law, the shareholder can be anyone whose age is more than 12 years old or above. Thus, for your case your step-daughter cannot be a company’s shareholder now due to her age does not yet comply as per the legal requirement. Moreover, for the power in the company it depends on the authorization condition of the director.
