The company gives a cash discount to its customers. If the customer is able to pay for the product within the specified conditions, can the company issue a Credit note?
Panwa : In the case that the company gives a cash discount to customers who pay before maturity, such as payment terms 2/10, if paid within 10 days, a 2% discount is considered an after-sale discount and is not considered the value of the tax base under Section 79. Revenue Code No tax invoice is required to collect sales tax from buyers and cannot issue a credit note under Section 82/10 of the Revenue Code because it is not an event to issue a credit note but can issue a trade credit note.
