Our certified public accountants and qualified accountants can certify documents if the agency receiving the document has a permit to certify. We can provide certification services covering the following:
- To certify/ authentication on translation documents, i.e. certification of translation from Thai to English or from English to Thai

Other, if this certification must be accepted by the document’s recipient or you may negotiate with the recipient about the qualifications of the certifier. There may be different purposes, such as

Alternative Document Certification that is not a Notary Public
Document certification is universally accepted. When you need to use a document to contact another agency, such as applying for an exam, applying for membership, or showing your place of residence, you may be asked to provide a certified true copy of the document. You can certify a document as a true copy by signing and dating it by a professional, such as a lawyer, auditor, doctor, police officer, senior civil servant, accountant, and other qualified (qualified) people in your community.
Examples of certified copies of documents include:
- Passport, national identity card
- Driver’s license, motorcycle license
- Letter or document issued by a government agency
- Bank or credit card statement
- Water, electricity or telephone bill
- Medical documents
Who can certify a document?
The recipient of the document will usually determine the qualifications or type of notarizer. However, you may have to negotiate accordingly. Generally, the document must be certified by a professional or respected person in your community (a ‘qualified person’), such as:
- Notary public or notary public
- Certified public accountant
- Qualified accountant (Registered with the professional council)
- Police lieutenant
- Senior civil servants
- Qualified community members, such as kamnan, village headman
- Council members
- Minister of Religion
- Dentist
- Chartered accountant
- Lawyer or attorney
- Teacher
Note: Please note that the above persons must not have any interest or relationship with the person requesting the certification, such as not living in the same house, not in the same family, and not have any interest in the issued document.
How to certify a document
- Bring the photocopied and original documents to have the person certify the copy by:
- By writing the text “Certified True Copy” on the document
- Sign
- Type your name under the signature
- Add the qualifications of the person making the certification along with the registration number (if any), such as Certified Public Accountant, Registration No. XXXX
- Address and telephone number
- Date of certification
