Our company wants to change the financial year from Jan 1st – Dec 31st to Feb 1st – Jan 31st.
Can we submit the 2020 Financial Report as at 31 January 2021 (13 months) instead of December 2020?
Panwa: The company is unable to prepare and submit the financial report as at January 2021 (13 months).
If the company would like to change the financial year, the company needs to submit the application form to the Director-General of the Revenue Department for requesting to change it and will be able to change once the Director-General of the Revenue Department approved. The time of process will depend on the consideration of the officer and the requirement to check the documents (accounting and taxes) if they request.
The company needs to submit the application form for requesting to change the accounting period to the DBD as well after getting the approval from the RD. Anyways, we could assist for preparing of financial statement audited by Certified CPA click here.
