I’ve been in Thailand for 2 years already and I want to apply for a tax residency certificate. I understood I need to show 180 day record of my stay in Thailand, however how can I do it if my old passport with most of my immigration stamps were lost and the new passport does not show complete 180 days. Can I still can apply for a tax residence certificate?
Panwa: In case your old passport is lost and you don’t have information of previous stamp pages of arrival and departure in Thailand, you still can apply for Tax Residence Certificate (TRC) by requesting from the Thai immigration for your travel records in Thailand which the immigration officer can issue the record to you within 1-3 working days.
