My company would like to import some products to sell in Thailand which I know that I have to apply the Customs license (paperless) first before import the product, and one of the requirements to apply this license is a company’s bank account. Thus, if my company has a current account, can I still apply for such license? If so, what documents do you need from me for the account?

A: Yes, your company can apply the Customs license (paperless) by using a company’s current account which for the document related to the bank account, you have to provide either company’s bank statement or the bank certificate issued in Thai version which contains the following information;

  1. Name and branch of the bank
  2. Account’s name
  3. Account number
  4. Type of account
